Lisa Yuskavage is TERRIFIC!! i got to meet her once when i was visiting Tyler Temple and deciding on what schools to go to, she was a visiting artist there. she's beautiful like her paintings.. i really feed bad for her though because she sort of came into the public during that figurative revival thingie a few years ago and still remains in the shadows of John Currin, although i think he works much more fantastical and amazing than his bore bore.. i cant lie, i love him too. yeah. she's terrific..
